        Yamaha is a brand that has many different products and services you can choose from. All of which follow the “Yamaha Philosophy”. They utilize this philosophy as a foundation to draw from and try to think from customer’s viewpoint as they build on a unique expertise and sensibilities, as well as the reputation for unparalleled reliability gained during their long history.

        In 1989, Yamaha engineers began to explore creating more exciting and memorable experiences for their customers to have on the water through new, innovative product offerings. With the success of Yamaha’s WaveRunner line, they decided to explore the possibility of a larger product, a boat, around that same technology. In 1995, due to popular demand by American boat builders, Yamaha sent a team from Japan to move to the US to expand development. They soon purchased a manufacturing facility in Tennessee and decided to produce jet boats there.

        There are very many reasons why Yamaha Boats are the best-selling runabouts in the country. Their jet drive designs are simple and nearly bullet-proof. By not being exposed to obstacles beneath the surface of the water, like propellers usually are vulnerable to, it makes your boating experience easy with no worries of potential damage.        We have had Yamaha in our “All-Star” lineup for more than 7 years now and throughout that time they have become our top-selling boat brand. Part of that has to do with the fact that Yamaha Jet Boats are perfect for Rivers boating and here in Portland we are known for our beautiful rivers that are surrounded by greenery.
