Storage Program - Terms and Conditions

Program Overview

River City Boat Sales & Marine Services offers three options for year-round boat and trailer storage: Preferred, Elite, and Trailer storage. This program allows customers to securely store their boats and trailers during the off-season and easily recommission them for the next boating season.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By participating in the River City Boat Sales & Marine Services' Boat and Trailer Storage Program, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions will be deemed accepted upon full payment and/or delivery of the boat and trailer for storage.

Reserve/Renewal Period

The reserve/renewal period for the storage program ends on October 15th. After this date, unclaimed storage spots will be made available to those on our waitlist, starting from October 16th.

Payment and Services

  • Full Payment: The storage program requires full payment upfront or at the time of boat and trailer drop-off. Payment can be made through approved payment methods as specified by River City Boat Sales & Marine Services.

  • Bottom Wash: If a boat is moored during the season, a bottom wash service is required prior to storing the boat in our facilities. The cost of the bottom wash will be the responsibility of the boat owner.

  • Transport Service: Transport service to and from the storage facility is available at an additional cost. Customers can inquire about the pricing and details of the transport service with River City Boat Sales & Marine Services.

Indemnification and Insurance

Owner shall hold harmless Dealer, its agents, and employees, from and against any expense (including, without limitation, legal and collection fees), loss, or liability suffered or incurred by Dealer or any third party as a result of or in connection with any breach by Owner of Owner's obligations as set forth in this agreement. Owner shall carry insurance against loss by fire, theft, windstorm, and other damage or loss that may occur during the rental period or as a result of Owner's failure to carry out Owner's obligations under this agreement.

Limited Space

Storage spots are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend prompt sign-ups to ensure securing a storage spot.

"Toss Us Your Keys" Process

Customers can "Toss Us Your Keys" in the fall when they wish to store their boats and trailers. Upon storing, they will be required to contact River City Boat Sales & Marine Services in the spring to schedule the re-commissioning of their boat for the upcoming season.

Winter Access Limited

Please note that this is not a 24-hour access program due to the off-site location of our storage facilities. Access to the stored boats and trailers will be subject to operating hours, as specified by River City Boat Sales & Marine Services. We ask that you contact us at least 48-hours in advance if you need to retrieve your boat or belongings.

Boat Re-Commissioning Scheduling

Customers are required to contact River City Boat Sales & Marine Services to schedule the time when they want their boats to be re-commissioned for the season. The scheduling process may take up to 10 business days, depending on the time of year and demand.

Service Shop Capacity

Our service shop operates as a small business, and we take great pride in providing high-quality marine services. While we strive to accommodate all customer requests, it is essential to note that the capacity of our service shop may vary depending on demand and seasonal fluctuations.

Timelines for Requests

We understand that each customer's request is unique, and the timeline for completion may vary based on the nature of the service needed. Our team will work diligently to address your requests promptly and efficiently. However, we kindly ask for your understanding if certain requests may require additional time to ensure the best possible outcome.

Quality Assurance

Maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and service quality is central to our business philosophy. Our skilled technicians are dedicated to providing reliable and efficient service, ensuring that your boat and trailer receive the care they deserve.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Customers may cancel their storage reservation, but certain terms and conditions may apply, including potential non-refundable charges. Please reach out to our Storage Coordinator for more information regarding cancellation or refund.

Liability and Insurance

River City Boat Sales & Marine Services will take reasonable measures to ensure the security and safety of the stored boats and trailers. However, boat owners are required to maintain their insurance coverage for their vessel.

Change of Residence

In the event Owner changes Owner's place of residence as set forth in this storage agreement, Owner shall give Dealer written notice of any change within ten (10) days of the change, specifying Owner's current residence and telephone number.

Right to Relocate

Dealer reserves the right to relocate the Boat to any other storage space as Dealer may find necessary.

Lien and Default

Owner's Boat will be subject to a lien in favor of Dealer if rent or other charges due are delinquent 14 days after the due date. Owner expressly consents to Dealer taking full control of the Boat stored on the premises if Owner defaults in any way under this agreement.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement by giving the other party ten (10) days notice by certified mail, email, texting, calling. In the event the Owner terminates prior to the expiration of the storage period or in the event Dealer terminates due to default of Owner in the performance of the terms and conditions of this agreement, any storage fee paid by the Owner shall be retained by Dealer and shall not be refunded or prorated. Upon termination of this storage agreement, Owner shall promptly remove the Boat from the premises.

Access and Notification

Access to the boat and trailer will be allowed during regular business hours only. Any removal of the boat and trailer from the premises requires Owner to notify Dealer 72 hours in advance.
